Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Harborlight Fern Telecom is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for outage reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Investigate trends in outage reports and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service installations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
