Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Stonegate Glen Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Boston. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
