Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Rivermark Stone Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Anchorage, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in dock schedules and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
