Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Summit Forge Transit Planning Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in service alerts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on fare systems. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
