Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Fernwood Quill Energy Group delivers power and gas plans across the Columbus region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 425 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
