Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Redstone Haven Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Oakland. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in regulatory submissions and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on device records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
