Data Analyst - customer trends (remote)

Redstone Clear Freight is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 66 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in carrier rates and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on loads and lanes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
