Data Analyst - customer trends (Providence, RI)

Cedar Mill Arts Center is an arts centre in Providence with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on event logistics. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
