Data Analyst - customer trends (Providence, RI)

Bluepeak North Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Providence. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in production lots and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
