Data Analyst - customer trends (Portland, OR)

Nova Ivory Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in Portland serving households and small businesses, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 438 people based in Portland. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in card disputes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
