Data Analyst - customer trends (Portland, OR)

Silverline Rook Staffing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for retention, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in retention and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on candidate screening. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
