Data Analyst - customer trends (Portland, OR)

Fernwood Beacon Staffing Group places workers with employers around Portland, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in onboarding and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on timekeeping. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
