Data Analyst - customer trends (Portland, OR)

Harborlight Beacon Staffing is a Portland staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people based in Portland. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in onboarding and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on client orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
