Data Analyst - customer trends (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Bright Wilder Property Management Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in resident events and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on rent collection. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
