Data Analyst - customer trends (Portland, OR)

Lumen Birch Arts Center is an arts centre in Portland with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Investigate trends in ticketing and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on visitor services. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
