Data Analyst - customer trends (Portland, OR)

Summit Sable Financial Group serves customers across Portland with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in loan applications and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
