Data Analyst - customer trends (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Silverline Linden Inspection Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 854 people based in Portland. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in field inspections and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
