Data Analyst - customer trends (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove River Auto Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 199 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in vehicle inspections and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
