Data Analyst - customer trends (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Junction Markets and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in shrink and waste and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on pricing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
