Data Analyst - customer trends (Pittsburgh, PA)

Amberfield Lantern Early Learning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in classroom supplies and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
