Data Analyst - customer trends (Pittsburgh, PA)

Lumen Birch Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for accessibility audits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 92 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in accessibility audits and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on fare systems. • Python or R for analysis.
