Data Analyst - customer trends (Phoenix, AZ)

Westbrook Amber Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for premium billing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on underwriting files. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
