Data Analyst - customer trends (Omaha, NE)

Harborlight Kestrel Staffing Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for temp assignments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 127 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in temp assignments and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on client orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
