Data Analyst - customer trends (Omaha, NE)

Fernwood Summit Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 69 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in supplier deliveries and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on warranty claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
