Data Analyst - customer trends (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight Lantern Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for warranty claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Investigate trends in warranty claims and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries.
