Data Analyst - customer trends (Oakland, CA)

Northwind Yarrow Arts Center is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for exhibitions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in exhibitions and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on event logistics. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
