Data Analyst - customer trends (Oakland, CA)

Bluepeak Lantern Pharma develops and makes medicines in Oakland. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Investigate trends in batch records and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on release testing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
