Data Analyst - customer trends (Oakland, CA)

Clearpath Community Partners is a nonprofit in Oakland supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in benefits enrolment and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on donor records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
