Data Analyst - customer trends (New Orleans, LA)

Fernwood Stone Energy Group delivers power and gas plans across the New Orleans region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in meter readings and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
