Data Analyst - customer trends (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Nova Pike Construction Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on change orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
