Data Analyst - customer trends (New Orleans, LA)

Lumen Nest Housing Group manages affordable housing communities across New Orleans. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 79 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in rent assistance and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on repair requests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
