Data Analyst - customer trends (New Orleans, LA)

Silverline Sable Manufacturing Partners manufactures parts and assemblies at its New Orleans plant. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in customer orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
