Data Analyst - customer trends (New Orleans, LA)

Silverline Cedar Facilities looks after properties across the New Orleans region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in supply orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on contractor visits. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
