Data Analyst - customer trends (Nashville, TN)

Silverline Thistle Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Nashville plant. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in customer orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on machine downtime. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
