Data Analyst - customer trends (Nashville, TN)

Ironwood Vale Manufacturing is a Nashville manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 288 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in work orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
