Data Analyst - customer trends (Minneapolis, MN)

Rivermark Cedar Banking Services Partners is a community-focused bank in Minneapolis serving households and small businesses, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in loan files and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on card disputes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
