Data Analyst - customer trends (Minneapolis, MN)

Ironwood North Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
