Data Analyst - customer trends (Milwaukee, WI)

Cedar Haven Construction is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in change orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on safety records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
