Data Analyst - customer trends (Milwaukee, WI)

Bright Meridian Health is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in insurance authorisations and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on electronic records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
