Data Analyst - customer trends (Madison, WI)

Westbrook Ashton Banking Services Group is a regional lender in Madison with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in branch operations and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on account openings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
