Data Analyst - customer trends (Madison, WI)

Stonegate Cross Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Madison, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Madison. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in allergen controls and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer specifications. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
