Data Analyst - customer trends (Madison, WI)

Foxglove Basin Legal Group is a Madison practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 315 people based in Madison. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in court deadlines and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on intake forms. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
