Data Analyst - customer trends (Madison, WI)

Silverline Sable Markets is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in promotions and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on shrink and waste. • Python or R for analysis.
