Data Analyst - customer trends (Madison, WI)

Cedar Kestrel Staffing is a Madison staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in temp assignments and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on retention. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
