Data Analyst - customer trends (Louisville, KY)

Fernwood Summit Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Louisville and nearby communities, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter reading. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
