Data Analyst - customer trends (Little Rock, AR)

Bright Cobalt Financial serves customers across Little Rock with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in payment disputes and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on vendor spend. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
