Data Analyst - customer trends (Las Vegas, NV)

Summit Loom Insurance is an insurance company in Las Vegas with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 857 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Investigate trends in customer complaints and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
