Data Analyst - customer trends (Knoxville, TN)

Cedar Junction Insurance Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for premium billing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on claims. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
