Data Analyst - customer trends (Knoxville, TN)

Rivermark Harbor Environmental Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in landfill records and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
