Data Analyst - customer trends (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Field Markets and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 263 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in promotions and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on shrink and waste. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
